Firstly, humid clouds are located → Substances like silver iodide AgI / potassium iodide KI are dispersed by the means of air (using aircrafts) or projectors near these clouds. these substances act as centre (nuclei) and accumulate water particles which together then lead to precipitation. → And then it rains!

   3. Karnataka is trying cloud seeding in partnership w/ HAL. And at least here in BLR it is super necessary because it barely rained this year, how are we gonna get water next year!?
